Environmental Sciences Building

Skyline College

We were responsible for the structural and site concrete at the new Environmental Sciences Building at Skyline College. This project included a new 21,000 sqft building housing two 56-seat classroom/laboratories, two 119-seat tiered lecture halls, academic offices, a catering kitchen, lobby and gallery/event space, and support spaces. RAB scope included excavation, formwork, rebar, and pouring of over 1000 CY of building footings, 1300 LF of building stem walls and over 24,000 sqft of building slab-on-grade, plus 17,000 SF of slab on metal deck at the roof. Site concrete scope included 450+ LF of seat and planter walls plus 20,000 SF of colored flatwork with various finishes (stamped, sandblasted, dry-shake hardened) plus site steps and ADA ramps.
